The Famous Palm Jumeirah, Pride of Dubai

This artificial archipelago is easily accessible via the Palm Jumeirah Monorail. This monorail extends for approximately 5.4 km. It connects Atlantis Hotel to the Gateway Towers which are located at the foot of the island. This monorail was launched on 6th May 2009. It was opened for the use of public on the 30th April 2009. The incredible fact is that with this monorail, the UAE got another first to its credit. It further extends inwards to connect the Red Line of the Dubai Metro. The Jumeirah also comprises of a two-kilometer-long trunk. There is a crescent that surrounds a crown of 17 fronts.
