The fascinating Dubai Aquarium
A fascinating attractions located in Dubai Mall brings the visitors a rare thrilling experience. Dubai Aquarium one among the largest suspended aquarium in the world is placed at the ground level of the famous Dubai Mall. The water tank in the aquarium which measures a length of 51 metres, a depth of 20 metres and a height of 11 metres is designed to hold over 10-million litre of water and displays more than 140 aquatic species. The water tank houses more than 400 sharks and Rays which includes the world’s biggest number of Sand Tiger Sharks. Public can view the tank from any of the three levels of the mall. The walk-through tunnel measuring around 48 metres in length constructed 11 metres below the surface of the tank enables the visitors to have 270 degree view.
The glass bottom boat ride available at the facility offers an exclusive boat bottom view. Brave ones are encouraged to enjoy Cage Snorkeling Experience in the tank. The Shark Dive brings the visitors a rare thrilling experience.

Underwater Zoo
Underwater Zoo showcases the water animals that can live in a river or sea water and move on land. The zoo fascinates the visitors covering animals live in the ocean, rocky shore and a rainforest. The unique aquatic display units showcases animals such as Nautilus, Cichlids, Paddlefish, Water Rats, Arapaima, Archerfish, Garden Eels, Seahorses, Giant Spider Crabs, Lionfish, Caiman Crocodiles, Humbolt Penguins, Piranha and Otters. Watch the curators feeding the water animals.
You can also watch a range of insects, lizards that squirt blood, chameleons that changes color, arthropods that creep and reptiles that slide and move. Over 30 kinds of amphibians, iguanas, lizards, geckos, range of insects and snakes are kept in the simulated rainforest for the view of the visitors. Cage Snorkeling and Diving
The Cage Snorkeling enables you to jump into the giant 10-million litre water tank without the use of protective air tanks yet enjoy the real snorkeling experience.
