Visitors can access this beach by public transport or by car. There are a lot of parking spaces which provides a high level of security. There are free of cost parking slots as well as parking slots where you have to pay a nominal fee. At one side of the beach, there is a Kite Zone where you can go for a swim without any problem. On the other side is an area where you can hire parasols and sun loungers. In the afternoon, when the speed of wind picks up, the number of kite-surfers increases profusely. There is a special outlet where you can hire equipment for kite surfing. Other interesting activities like deep sea fishing, banana boats, snorkeling, and kayaking are also very popular at the Kite Beach.

The beach houses dedicated areas for the entertainment of children. There are a plethora of physical activities not only in the water but also at the beach. You can find a startling mix of bungee trampolines, volleyball games, trampolines, climbing park etc. There is also a separate skate park for the entertainment of kids. You can also enjoy cruising, parasailing, wakeboard, windsurfing, UTube, kneeboards and waterskis here. There is a long-running track specially made for the fitness freaks and sports enthusiasts. This track offers a wide variety of exercise equipment for the use of these people. This track also links several beaches. Visitors are free to cycle along the bike path which runs adjacent to the length of Jumeirah Beach Road. This path starts right after the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. There are separate Byky hire stations if you don’t have a bike of your own. The only point is that you will have to chain up your two-wheeler before you get to the Kite Beach. However, if you want to cycle further, go ahead to Jumeirah Open Beach. It houses a small, pleasurable and comfortable cycle track that winds its way up to the shore.

Apart from the wide array of entertainment, the Kite Beach is also a storehouse of many bars and restaurants.  The ambiance is modern and trendy. You can gourmandize on burgers, Arab specialties, Asian delicacies and hot dogs. There are a number of sweet treats for people with sweet tooth. The Kite Beach offers something for everybody’s interest. Some of the best stuff you can find here are fresh veg pizza at Amor Dubai, froyos at The Surf Shack, iced/cold coffee at Blue Beach Café and frozen bananas at Wanna Banana. The last spot is a very popular attraction for gourmands. Here you can find ice cream made of 100 percent bananas. The bananas are frozen. You have options to add peanut butter, cinnamon or honey to it. Apart from this, you can also enjoy fried pastries at Beaver Tails. Be unfazed to try sweet Canadian pastry coated with Nutella, marshmallows, fig jam or bananas. It is sticky, stringy, gooey and messy but a must for brazen fans of the deep-fried and sugar-coated stuff. Sounds scrumptious eh?

The Kite Beach got a facelift last year. The coastline between Umm Suqeim Beach and Jumeirah Open Beach was revamped. Additional walking tracks, jogging tracks, kiosks, toilets, and showers were added to it. These were added as a part of the Dubai Corniche project. Sadly, no skates or bikes are allowed on the Corniche. The beach has been very highly rated when it comes to cleanliness hygiene. Toilet, showers, lifeguards, and gastronomy facilities are easily available to the public. There are some other villages and beaches close to the beach. They are:
